Legacy Design’s Legacy Pride Paper Dolls designs and sells a series of spectacular paper dolls based on literary characters and authors, such as the one of Anne Elliott above. I had highlighted only one or two in a previous post, but the author of Old Grey Pony kindly sent links to a slew of them that I could not ignore. Check out her website, including Georgian Resources, if you haven’t seen them so far and bookmark them. They are well worth the return visits.

They are really beautiful! I have Henry and Catherine (natch) and Jane Austen as well. I mean to frame them…eventually.
They’re too adorable. I could pretend that I’m getting some for the children I might have but that’s totally untrue. They’re for me to play with. Carefully.
I have a bit of a thing for paper dolls because my great grandmother saved her daughters’ and grand daughters’ in perfect condition from the 50’s through the 70’s and I adored her collection when I was a kid in the 80’s.
I’ve been contemplating a new tattoo recently and I think I might base one on these. A headless, Regency paper doll, very Gothic!
I adore paper doll representations of literary characters.
