Seen Over the Ether: Poetry by Jane Austen and Inspired by Her

Jane Austen’s incomparable novels have inspired praise, sequels, movie adaptations, artwork, and poetry. Find a few samples of the latter below:

Roses and Thorns: A Poetic Pride and Prejudice is a collection of poems and sonnets that capture Pride and Prejudice. Click here to read Mr. Darcy on the Occasion of Observing Elizabeth Bennet.

Thoughts Ungathered is a blog that features two poems inspired by Jane Austen’s novels. Click on the link to read them.

Danny Yee wrote this love poem for Rita, entitled: Without Pride or Prejudice: A Love Poem After Jane Austen.

The Republic of Pemberley offers other Jane Austen inspired poetry, including the one by Mr. Yee.
