Inquiring readers,
Last year a reader wrote in to say that the Cornelia Green pattern by Mottahedeh was used as the China for the dining room scenes at Longbourn.

Jane visits Netherfield Park and gets ill.
Yesterday, Katrina reported that the Royal Doulton china pattern used for the scenes at Netherfield Park early in the film is called English Rennaisance. Thank you for the information!

English Renaissance by Royal Doulton
Another reader asked this question: Does anyone know the pattern of the china that was used in the scene in which Lizzy speaks to Mr. Wickham after she’s read Mr. Darcy’s letter? Please leave a comment if you can identify the china in these images:

Lizzy drinks tea after talking to Wickham.

Here are two close up shots of the china in question. UPDATE!! Pattern found. Thank you, Margaret!

Teasing a little: I noticed in the 2007 _Persuasion_, the dishware was of the traditional type one finds in all Lanmark Trust houses (and some National Trust ones where there are cafes for tourists).
Thrift, thrift, Horatio, and they look old-fashioned too,

They spent lavishly on that 95 _P&P_
I’m glad you liked my Watteau, Geraint’s Signshop Header. It took me some courage to do that. I’d like to customize my header for my Reveries on Livejournal, but the people running it daunt me with their warning don’t do this unless you are a website engineer &c&c

I believe that the floral china used at tea time at Longbourn is Royal Antoinette by Royal Crown Derby.

Isn’t it lovely? I would love a set but it is VERY expensive!
Thank you, Margaret! What a find.
Glad to be of service! It’s the pattern my mother-in-law gave me as a wedding gift, and I was quite surprised when I spotted it. The pattern was introduced in 1963, and was discontinued in 1996. You can especially tell it’s English Renaissance when they show the tea service. The pot’s rather distinctive: http://images.replacements.com/images/images5/china/R/royal_doulton_english_renaissance_tea_pot_and_lid_P0000080943S0022T2.jpg
They did not reuse the dishware? That’s a waste then. I’ve no clue about the china ware but JE was a great actress, see her eyes doing the acting here.

*Blush* I guessed Royal Crown Derby too. Not from the pattern but the shape of the tea cup. I have a set of Crown Derby, two patterns that I mix, Blue Aves and Grenville. Sadly, RCD prices are now out of my budget, and I do not have a full set. Don’t even ask how much a teapot is. Ouch!
Thanks for the great info.
Those are both beautiful patterns!

I, too, am on a hunt for the name/source of the green, white-dotted china used at Longbourne for breakfast. Also used in a tea scene in Age of innocence, I think. No luck, so far.
