Georgette Heyer (1902-1974)

Georgette Heyer was a prolific writer of witty Regency romances, and historical and crime novels. Her knowledge of history and social customs is unequaled, and her use of cant is original and colorful (but a bit confusing for the novice fan.) Find a thoughtful synopsis of her books on this site.
