In My Book Review Queue: Pride and Prejudice: An Annotated Edition

The new annotated edition of Pride and Prejudice by Patricia Meyer Spacks, a professor of English, Emerita, at the University of Virginia, is so beautiful a book, so lush to the touch and rich with beautiful color images and scholarly insights, that I cannot wait to spend the weekend reading it.

Pride and Prejudice: An Annotated Edition is substantially different from the 2007 Annotated Pride and Prejudice by David Shapard, a trade paperback. This is a beautiful edition. The color images are such a treat. This is going to be a ‘must have’ for Austen fans.

How exciting! I must get a copy. I LOVE my Shapard edition and have been aching for more along the same lines. You had me jumping for joy at “new annotated edition”.
