I can heartily recommend anything online put on by the Jane Austen House Museum – I’ve enjoyed some wonderful talks courtesy of Zoom! The volunteers who deliver the talks are great and their enthusiasm for what they do is inspiring. Even though I live in the UK, it’s not the easiest trip to travel to Hampshire from where I am, so these online events are a godsend. If you’re tempted to sign up for one – I’d say do it! Enjoy!
Thank you for your recommendation. I agree with you. Every time I listen to a podcast/zoom talk from the Jane Austen House Museum I am informed and more than satisfied!
Sounds wonderful. First day of school for my youngest, so it’s a bad for me.

I hope to attend, but generally my busy season starts in September as well. Still, this seems like an excellent way to discuss a book that gets little notice compared to Austen’s 5 other novels.
I think that would put me at 2:00 pm the previous day / Monday, Sept. 5, 2022 here in the Eastern time zone, United States of America. Does that sound correct? My world clock says to get to London time I add a day + 5 hours.

Bonnie, let me check with my British friends. Depending on daylight savings time, I think we are only 5 hours apart, with us earlier.
Use this EST to London Converter: https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/. Look at the date Sept 6 date.
I read that if it is 7-8 PM London time, it will be 2-3 PM EST US time.
Thanks Vic, I have signed up!
